Ninjutsu Martial Arts and Taiko Drumming Workshop

Dinner: Izakaya style Japanese Restaurant and finish the evening with Karaoke

DAY TWO (B, L, D)  

Eco Tour to Lamington National Park with Japanese Guide, transport and obento lunch

Robina Excursion to include Artvo Immersive Gallery, Japanese cooking school for lunch, free time shopping

Excursion to Ipswich’s Japanese garden - Nerima Gardens with Japanese tea-ceremony and sushi lunch

DAY THREE (B, L, D)

Kimono demonstration and yukata dressing with opportunity to take photos

Japanese dance group and Bon Odori Workshop

Daiso shopping at nearby shopping centre

Kendo demonstration

Dinner: Ramen dinner with brief introduction to ramen by the Japanese chef

DAY FOUR (B, L, D)   

Seaworld Resort Gold Coast - admission including your choice of a school educational program

OPTIONAL EXTRAS AND UPGRADES

Many optional extras are available at an additional cost depending on the activity.

Day 1 - Taiko drumming - experience a full performance and workshop with the 

larger o-daiko drums.

Day 3 - great option for students to choose their own brand new yukata, colour and design, to take photos and then keep as a souvenir.

Day 5 - include a guided tour of Griffith University Gold Coast Campus with an introduction to The Bachelor of Languages and Linguistics – Japanese program.

Add extra nights and extra activities. 

The Art of Bonsai – learn the basic skills of bonsai including your own miniature bonsai tree.

Visit the picturesque village of Tamborine Mountain and the Tamborine Mountain Botanic Gardens Japanese Garden.

Japanese shodo calligraphy.

Japanese soroban lessons.

Koto music performance and workshop.

Japanese language lessons appropriate to students' skills and year level.

INCLUSIONS

Based on low season rates with a minimum of 15 students plus 2 teacher’s costs fully included.

4 nights hotel accommodation in the heart of Surfers Paradise with breakfast included daily.

Seaworld offers a comprehensive selection of educational activities. 

A group activity is included and can be chosen according to subject area and applicable year level. Some programs are applicable to all year levels whilst other programs are specific to the age and interests of students.
